trigger warning: these original songs were written between the ages of 14 and 24, during many periods of itinerant homelessness, survival sex work, relationship trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation and self medication from being forced into a variety of closets in many different times and places. i was in no shape to perform or tour with these songs during the time they were written, so i am putting them out now because they are very important records of my survival against all odds.

the first seven tracks were recorded live. then as bonus material, a demo of the tranwreck studio sound to come, a cover of one of my favorite acoustic songs by Alex(x) Reed (thouShaltnot, Seeming) that got me through this period, plus previously unreleased drum and bass collaboration with James Gyre and a deep house cover of Kate Bush by way of Placebo from Infiniti Cuntz.

the title "dragons on my eyelids" was created by my bb nick hannan during the rehearsal for the live performance documented here

tracks 1-7 recorded live 5/9/2015 with The Inelegant Duo of Keyshaun and James, featuring Duane "Irate" Jones on lead guitar. these songs have been realized and released under such names as new pilgrim age, performance art group, cyssi boi, and the dead letters, however these live versions are much more raw, available and intimate than the previous versions and more accurately reflect the state of the material as originally intended.

i did not write the music or words for tracks 1, 4, 8 9 or 10 and really appreciate the influence that Panic! at the Disco, Bright Eyes, Alex(x) Reed, James Gyre and Kate Bush have had on my growth and development as a songwriter. thank you!
